Nice state park for glamping in a yurt. The beach was closed when we went due to low water levels.

Fun park, clean & recently updated. Nice pavilions, decent walking trails & disc golf. 😎

The beach was great! Lots of room for swimming and tossing a splash ball with my son. The picnic area was a different story. Pesky yellow jackets made it hard to enjoy our lunch. Had to eat in the car.

I didn't see any at the beach. And they are not allowed there.
$5 per car or truck with 4 wheels.
Yes you can fish, need a license yes. Check at the time if you can keep as it changes
5 dollers for swimming 25 a night for camping and its 28 a night with power for camping everything else you might have to call them
I highly suggest getting the annual pass- especially since it's summer time! $5 a day makes only 10 trips to the beach- when $50 gets you the entire 365 days to visit the park.
They should be
As far as I know it is. Closes at sunset. $5 entire
You will need to check availabilty online https://gastateparks.org/FortYargo or call the park directly.
Dogs are not "allowed" however, i have seen people on the beach with their dogs.
