Quite and serene. Maintenance takes care of issues and management is courteous and efficient. I lived at Cadillac for 6-½ years, and am now moving back. It’s a nice place to call home. Only complaint is the laundry is coin operated and washer and dryers are not very efficient. Hoping for this issue to be updated.

In the two and a half years I've lived here, this is probably one of the best experiences in an apartment complex I've had and I would recommend this place to almost anyone who needs housing in the Sacramento Area. I say almost anyone because this place does have some flaws that may cause some people to reconsider. But before we get to that, let's start with the Pros: PROS: THE MANAGEMENT: For most of my time here, the property manager was Melanie Free, and she was the best of the best. Maintenance was handled efficiently and smoothly, and she was always available to answer questions over email or on the phone. The new manager is Clara Hicok with Jenny Breen as the new leasing consultant and although I only lived in my apartment for a short time while they were in their roles, their performance has been similarly excellent. THE LOCATION: The location is perfect regardless if you're a student, a working adult, or anyone else. Raleys, CVS, and Starbucks are a 5 minute walk away. Safeway and more restaurants are a 10 minute walk away. There's also a bus stop a short walk away and easy access to Arden Arcade, Midtown, and Downtown as needed. THE APARTMENTS: Though they are old, as others have mentioned, they're also well-insulated against the elements, have working appliances, and the one-bedroom places feel like you're living in a one-story house. The reserved carports are also great while guest parking is plentiful. CONS: THE LAUNDRY ROOM: It may be more of a personal gripe but given that we're currently living with an ongoing coin shortage, I cannot for the life of me understand why this laundry room is still coin-operated (other apartments in the area are card-operated). Moreover, if you're not a member of any of the banks here, they won't give you coins anymore, meaning you have to get them from the main office almost every time. It made doing the laundry unnecessarily stressful for me. Thankfully, because the management is awesome, they usually have a few rolls of quarters on hand and you can ask if needed, but having a card operated laundry machine would make all this stress unnecessary and for some reason, they haven't revisited that as of writing. THE FITNESS ROOM/BASKETBALL COURTS: If your workout involves weights, exercise balls, pull-up bars, or any other kind of specialized equipment, you should get a separate gym membership because this room just has two treadmills, two ellipticals, and a stairmaster. Similarly, the basketball courts were borderline abandoned with massive cracks in the pavement and grass growing through. Again, it is a little disappointing given how similar apartment complexes in Arden have more fleshed out fitness rooms and basketball courts, but if you can afford another gym membership, or you're a student at Sac State, it won't be a problem. THE RENT (FOR NEW RESIDENTS): To be clear, I don't blame management for this as much as I blame the pandemic, inflation, and the massive trash fire that is the California housing market but since a one bedroom is now $1800 for new residents as of writing, I don't think I can recommend this place as wholeheartedly as I would in the past. When I moved to my one-bedroom apartment less than 3 years ago, the rent was only $1275, and had it been even $300 more than that, I would have still enthusiastically recommended it to anyone looking for a place to live in Sacramento. Unfortunately, in the year 2022, I don't think enough has changed to justify the rent increase, but then again, since rent has skyrocketed everywhere, maybe this place is still worth the money compared to other places, I don't know. All in all, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great apartment complex across the board.

I have stayed in this apartment for about 2.5 years. The apartment has got ample storage and they are very cozy. The apartment complex is well maintained with regular landscaping and cleaning. The rent includes water/garbage and trash which is great since you wont get any surprises at the end of the month. Melanie and her team, they are excellent, fair, cooperative and helpful. They are very prompt at addressing any issue you may have in your apartment. The neighborhood is great since Raley's, CVS, Starbucks are within walking distance. The American River Trail is right behind the apartment which is great for jogging/cycling. Downtown is 12 to 15 minutes drive. Would recommend this property.

I’ve lived here for about a month and am very happy with my choice. Everyone in the office made the move very easy. It well gated and quiet. Also, super convenient that you can walk to Raley’s.
