I did not have a referral or any reference of where to go after my car was struck while parked. I am so glad I trusted Kniesel’s to do their due diligence and make sure my vehicle was perfect. From Teri at the front desk, to Josh who provided exceptional service from start to finish and Aaron who went above and beyond to address my concerns and make sure I was 100% satisfied. They truly are a great team and very professional. Thank you to those who worked on my vehicle and took care of it and returned to me cleaned and detailed. Thank you all so much. How do I get a rental vehicle?

We have rental cars onsite (at some of our locations) to make the process as fast and easy as possible. Our team will happily set up a reservation for you. Check with your insurance carrier to ensure you have rental car coverage on your auto policy. Please contact the Kniesel’s nearest you for details.

Does the shop receive payment from my insurance company, or do I pay for repairs?

Kniesel’s Collision will work with your insurance company for payment. You are only responsible for the deductible (if you have one) and/or any betterment, if applicable.

Do I have the right to select the body shop that will repair my car?

Yes. You can choose Kniesel’s regardless of whether it is on your insurance provider’s preferred list. Just drop your vehicle off at Kniesel’s and notify your insurance company. We work with all insurance carriers and can help facilitate communications with your provider.

No. After the repair work is complete, you pay us only your insurance deductible (if you have one). If you have already received a payment from the insurance company, we will work with you to determine what needs to be paid to Kniesel’s.

Occasionally, once the repair process has begun, unforeseen conditions may arise that require additional parts or time. o If anyone is injured, call 911 immediately. o If no one is hurt, gather the following information for each of the parties involved in the accident: name, driver's license number, vehicle license plate, and insurance information. If there are any witnesses, gather their names and phone numbers. o Note the time, date, and location of the accident. Use your smartphone to photograph the accident scene and the damage to the vehicles. o Contact your insurance company. Their claims information should be provided on the back of your insurance i.d. card. o Notify the Police: If anyone involved in the accident will not provide, or does not have, a driver license or insurance, contact the police and your insurance company immediately.
