Enjoyed my time interning at the Raleigh Headquarters. The staff is supportive and create an enjoyable work environment. You can tell that everyone loves their jobs. They were also flexible about my schedule, which was greatly appreciated. Definitely would recommend it for college students looking for an internship.

Questionable practices at their assessment centers. They do not train staff enough and I do not believe they properly care for the children. Not a safe or cohesive environment for anyone & higher ups are oblivious. They do not prepare children for life outside of the center and really just help contribute to the school to prison pipeline. Kids get so far behind in school and do not have state certified teachers teaching them. Very sad. Surprised they haven’t been shut down.

Would not recommend working for this company, especially as an assessment counselor or a teacher. Very low pay & poor leadership. Lack of communication was huge.

Hi Joyce - What a kind and generous offer! Ageing out can be terrifying for many of our kids and we work to make sure they are ready. Even so, providing essential items as a send-off is a wonderful opportunity and we'd love to talk with you more about this. At this time, we are only able to accept new items for our kids. Yes my maiden name is sandra ray .i was an orphane here with my siblings lisa ray and karen ray back in 1960s to 1970 and would like to know some history of the orphanage back then and pictures also history on it from before us when it first open ?
