If I can give this place a rating lower than 1 I would do it. Terrible

Genuinely, Centennial Ridge’s quality matches the lower prices. There’s mold in these apartments, the kitchen appliances need to be updated—BADLY, and God forbid you ever hit a terrible point in life forcing you to pay your rent later than expected. Even if you pay in the same month, you will be harassed by “Brenda” who is now a director of the establishment. Brenda doesn’t know customer service. She is very inclusive on your funds as if your rent payment is going to her. I remember Brenda chasing me outside of the office to express that the money I’d given her wasn’t enough, and that I didn’t express that I’d give that short. Covid truly interrupted people’s livelihood; however, Brenda did not care. She does more than her job by ensuring her residents feel uncomfortable, unsafe, and ashamed. They will not allow me to renew my lease; moreover, my first time trying—I was almost homeless and forced to live out of my car. However, Emily gained a sense of empathy and allowed me to keep my apartment. I had emailed Brenda countless times; however, she ignored me. Students are not the only people who reside in this complex. I do not mind this; however, this can be misleading for those who are looking for that sort of community. Josh is one of the best staffers they have! He is genuine, and he understands that things happen. He does not judge you nor does he harass you about your rent. Also, while a friend of mine had covid and expressed this to the staff—they STILL moved someone in the apartment risking the residents life. Overall, I would not recommend this complex. Especially since the best employee they have will be leaving, and since we have a director that doesn’t know genuine customer service. Tread lightly on this choice, PLEASE! Upon leaving the complex, I had no help nor moving trucks. Again, everyone’s funds are subjective to what they may need/want in regards to moving. I was tardy moving out understanding the fees. My friend was in this same predicament. Brenda asked her, “Do you have storage for all of these things?” Then followed with, “Because I know you don’t have anywhere to go.”. The staffed around her also allowed this ignorant language. This is who your director is of Centennial Ridge Apartments. I’d recommend any other living situation then than college living offered through Centennial. They will treat you HORRIBLY! Roommate situation(s) are always risky as well. They don’t pay attention to who they’re pairing you with. For example, they’ll pair a person with a pet with people who do not prefer pets. If the staff were kind, it’d make the living situation more comfortable. You’d feel more secure. However, if you’re looking for affordable living—Centennial is the route.

Don’t move here unless its your only option. Theres a bunch of hidden fees and the bus stop is crowded by homeless people. No offense to the homeless but this entire place is just inconvenient and they never cleaned the stairs/railing—I think I touched the railing once in my entire time living there. One upside is that maintenance always comes when you need it, and you /will/ need it. Personally, I only think this complex is worth it if they update their appliances and … everything else. If you don’t have a car and you move here then you’re just setting yourself up, bc nothing is walking distance besides a gas station that’s not even done being built yet.
