Sales associate who called was rude. The website asked to provide a budget and he called to confirm. He became snarky and stated what are we supposed to pay our guards if your budget is $16-20 an hour. Why ask for a budget range if there is no point in the first place? We have room to discuss but my job is not to write your bid or proposal for you. You create a bid, if it is in our budget or we feel that you have enough value to increase our budget, we will. Simple as that.
