I am a current Activity professional at Peak of Fox Chase. I believe every nursing facility will have their good and bad reviews due to the person who is writing the review. I must say, I have worked in several facilities over my 24 years of of experience as a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist working in healthcare. Peak of Fox Chase is definitely one of the better facilities. It is really a good place. It is clean and doesn't smell like a healthcare facility at all. The décor of the facility is beautiful. The rooms are a nice size and clean. The staff truly care about the residents. The residents are happy. The administration work hard to make sure the residents are treated fair. I love working there!! I'm truly sad to read some of the bad reviews that was written but there is always two sides to a story. Have an Active Day!

After doing more research, I now know that most of the positive reviews on google are fake. My mothers feeding tube was NEGLECTED ; She wasDEHYDRATED..left in her feces 2xs I know of. and laying in bed all day getting worse..( she was never REHABILITATED ;mice ran under the beds of the 3 other people she was in the room with. she was in a room with 3 other people.The peakehealth llc purchased nursing homes during the pandemic..2 young billionaires profited off of elderly misery..I was denied a plan of discharge and care plan/ September 30; October 6, @22 THEY ( foxchase administration) tried to force me to sign a contract before giving me a discharge plan for my mom to come home safely. I NEVER SIGNED A CONTRACT. I was constantly givin a cold shoulder and stonewalled; The fox chase Dr ( who i still never met) did not even know my mother was a female until I updated mommy MOLST on December 23rd..Foxchase was told on OCTOBER 7 that mommy was a DNR. but they ( foxchase) still milked the FULL CODE SCAM COW. I called the mcpd; the HHS; THE OMBUDSMAN.. finally i just went and took her to the hospital myself; The hospital admitted her for dehydration. mommy was also very malnourished. her foot was in pain. IM GLAD I STOPPED TRUSTING THEM AT FOXCHASE AND ACTED ON MY GUT FEELING.and finally listening to my mom beg me to take her HOME. I thought the fox chase was going to restore her to PEAKEHEALTH..Never did.I always hoped for her to get better..I saved videos... pictures.. emails and MY REVIEW IS MY TRUTH.

This place is HORRIBLE. If I can give zero stars I most definitely would. My nephrew is here and the staff here dont care. They are giving my sister a very hard time and the only thing she is trying to do is be there for her son and no one here takes that into consideration. These nurses refuse to help her, they do not do their jobs, they have very nasty attitudes, certain nurses dont know how to hang tube feedings leaving it clumpy looking and not attending to it when the machine beeps as they should. My nephew is constantly left soak and wet with soiled linen under him for long periods of time, No one checks on him like they should to do any turns or checks, No one here shows any compassion whatsoever and they call these nurses here heros. No heros work here only those who just want a paycheck. This young man that they are suppose to be caring for has been through hell and is still going through it being in here. If you have love ones that you care about PLEASE do not send them here. This place needs to be under investigation by the BBB, Pennsylvania Department of Health for neglect, and The Joint Commission.
