Fort Hill

This place is completely mismanaged and unsafe. Allows harassment and victimization of women, the disabled, the vulnerable, the handicap and seniors. Manager Erik Olton is aware of the serious issues including drug activity and other criminal activity taking place there. He does not care about the safety and well being of the tenants he is responsible for. He should be terminated and Conifer held liable for his mismanagement and theirs. The main office in Rochester, NY does not respond to concerns or inquires by their tenants when called in at many levels. They just send it back to the property level where the problem greatly stands. Making it virtually impossible for tenants to be heard or anything to be handled. Current Renovation has been a terrible inconvenience to many of the tenants. No consideration has been given to the health conditions, disabilities or age of the residents living there. There have been several injuries as a result. Tenants were assured that their property was fully insured by Conifer but this was not so. Very poor ethics, disregard and disconcern for tenants. Very shameful business practice. Additionally the very needed parking needs and access needs of the seniors, disabled and handicapped are being greatly compromised for valet parking for patrons of the coming theater. A large number of people may loose their housing as a result. Just what were Conifer, the Sands family, the Hamlin family, the Pollesini family, Mayor Polemini, the Fort Hill Performing Arts Center board, Gordon Estey and other benefactors thinking when they decided valet parking was more important than residents housing needs. Many of us have mothers, parents, aunts, sisters, brothers and dear friends living there. Do not allow your loved ones to live there. Very bad example of affordable housing in the community. Show your support the Fort Hill residents and ask these community leaders what they were thinking. Protect Canandaigua's vulnerable and precious population. Our seniors and disabled.

Rents at Fort Hill are not based on income. However, there are income limits.
