We have stayed and visited here multiple times. The service, accommodations and location are all top notch. The rooms are all nice in every building with quality linens and luxurious bathrooms. Being in the main building is more convenient to the common areas, but we have also stayed in the outbuilding and it was a pleasant experience. Nice, comfortable and clean common areas. The back lawn is adequately equipped with seating, lawn games, fire pits, etc. to enjoy the view. Perks like s'mores kits are a nice touch. The pool area is great and the expanded seating areas (although some requires a paid reservation) were a nice addition. Friendly, smiling service staff everywhere. We have eaten at both the Rose Tavern and the Sand Bar. Both have good drink options. We ate at the Sand Bar a couple of years ago and it was a disappointment, but I do see a new menu now, so will have to give it a try in a future visit. Our Rose Tavern visits were hit or miss on both food and service, but overall not bad and convenient when you don't want to leave the resort. This is a ritzy resort, so expect pricing on certain things to reflect that. Although a few items, such as ice cream from the pool shack are ridiculously overpriced, even for a place like this which is still somewhat of a Sysco operation. Despite a few negative points, overall it is a beautiful, relaxing, clean, comfortable place that makes you feel like you are on a true getaway from it all.
