My dad has been bringing us here for many years! He also has some Antique cars that are on display here. My 5 year old has been coming since she was a baby and I'm not lacking great pictures over the years of her posing by all the airplanes! She wants to pilot one day like her grandfather!

What can I say? If you like vintage historical airplanes, (primarily prop), motorcycles and America this is the place. Huge old winery storage facility. Very nice thoughtful displays with interpretation. We go annually and always enjoy with the kids.

Glenn Curtiss was a contemporary of Henry Ford, Wright Brothers, etc. This place was impressive and I had no idea! Strongly encourage going!

Hi guys, the Curtiss Museum first opened in the Village of Hammondsport in 1962. We moved to our current location in 1992.

What a great little museum ! Lots of information about motors, motorcycles, early aircraft and the race to be first in flight ! Highly recommended.
There are many bed & breakfasts in the area, as well as several fantastic hotels. The Hammondsport Chamber of Commerce has a very detailed list.

It's $12 a visit. So I would get a membership. I only visited once, so I don't know how much a membership is.
