The Veterans Memorial Museum is a great place to learn about history. Place has informative information and great beautiful displays. Individuals that volunteer her are great. Appreciate this great building. Building is organized and clean. I would recommend this place.

A lot of history, good place to visit, remember old friends, get some knowledge and pass on to next generations what the price of freedom means/cost is in the sacrifice laid down by some of these vets

Yes the museum is handicap friendly
I lived in Mariposa, CA for 30 years and visited the Museum many times. During a visit I noticed they did not have the book "Guadalcanal Diary." I Had 3 first addition hardback copies of the book and donated one to the Museum. On a later visit I looked in the library and could not find the book. I inquired and was told it was sold, as are any books donated. I thought it was like a Library where the books could be checked out and returned. I was very disappointed because the book was so historical that I thought the museum would keep it.
