Our family went to Collins creek trailhead mid July 2022. There hadn't been any rain for awhile. Everything was extremely dry, very hot, and there was no water flowing over the dam. It was impressive, but a little disappointing. Just a little further down the road was a small area of falls. Walking down to them, you could hear the rushing water so you anticipate the amazing view and the rush of water. When you get to the water, it is really relaxing and interesting, until you turn to the left and see a diversion pipe sticking out 4 feet from the side of a rock. It reminds you of the fake water features at Disney Word. The kids did have fun, it was hot and the water was nice and crip. We would still recommend the place.

Some parking available but not much. I visited there around 11:00am on a Saturday, just before it started to get a little crowded. The trail is very short but BEAUTIFUL. The waterfalls were closer to the beginning of the trail than the end of it. This is one of my favorite spots now - a little over an hours drive from Little Rock. Bring a picnic lunch with ya!

Wow this place is beautiful! We spent three hours just wondering the trails and enjoying the views. From cascading waterfalsl to beautiful river views. They even had a few rest stop areas to rest at. We'll definitely be visiting this place in the fall.

Beautiful. My kids loved it. The water was very cold. Beautiful family hike down to the Little Red River.

It's connected to the John F. Kennedy Park, I believe the campsites are over there..
The area gets pretty crowded and passes through the camping area. I wouldn't recommend a dog off leash. There is a sign in the parking area. Check it before deciding.
To get to the falls isn't long at all..100ish yards. There is a path that continues on if you want a longer stroll. It isn't paved or anything but is pretty easy going. My 4 yr old did it easy. I am disabled and I was even able to walk it without aid.
