Plain Disrespect towards employees at this facility. Let’s just say these men and women that work here are expected to give and give to receive nothing in return. With out your RNs CNAs Med aids your facility would never be open! Treat your staff better you low life pencil pushers that work in an office Monday through Friday!

My grandfather pays about $10,000 a month to be repeatedly exposed to Covid-19 due to unvaccinated staff and because of that he has been continually isolated. He is rarely able to have visitors indoors, due to unvaccinated staff and is limited to only two 30 minute visits PER WEEK. Imagine if you were only able to see your loved ones for ONE HOUR per week. It's inhumane and utterly lacking in compassion. The lack of compassion this facility has for their residents that pay thousands and thousands of dollars per month is shocking and frustrating. It is affecting the health and metal wellbeing of their paying residents. Instead of caring for their paying residents with the compassion and diginity they deserve, they are catering to the staff the residents pay for. Its unacceptable and its inhumane.

This is a great place to work, mostly because of the nurses, CNAs, kitchen staff and housekeeping. There’s definitely a community feeling and mostly everyone is good at helping each other. The cons are that as a LPN, I performed all duties, even the ones known to only be done by a RN, like an admission, for example, sometimes two per day, but you still get paid 6-7 dollars less than an RN. Also, it definitely feels like despite all the experience that I have acquired over three years, I have nothing to show for as they adopted this practice where your managers cannot give references about you. So if you list one of them as your reference, and a prospective employer calls, they won’t be able to obtain reference about you, only will be able to verify the timeline you worked with HR.

I would like to see the staff held accountable for their actions. I know of at least one person who would bring concerns fourth about their co worker and they would just shut them up and say that they (the person I know) didnt know what they were talking about and that it was their word against their co worker. Way to treat your staff members Baptist home!!! It will be my mission to recommend another place yo people who are looking for a home for their love one or looking for a job. Very disappointed in the whole staff there and I wish people would be held accountable for their actions and not get by with such nonsense. yes this post may not be seen or read by alot but I hope some actually read these and take my recommendation about finding somewhere else. They treat their staff poorly unless they like them. Very very sad. When someone brings up something you should actually listen to them instead of passing them off.

You would have to contact Baptist Home
We have an assisted living and basic care community attached to our health care center. Prairie Pointe accepts basic care, which does take Medicaid. Melanie Soupir is their Housing Director. -Deanna B., Administrator
Do not work there. The conditions are not the greatest. I know of one person who used to work there and the staff were nasty to her and the residents abused her daily. The nurse was also a very nasty person as far as personality. the nurse would yank a residents arm and be rough with the residents they have there.
