So I drove over here from Mandan because everywhere I have went to get a fishing license so I can go fly fishing and by the way I'm still a Colorado resident, I was told I had to come over here to get my fishing license. I get here, you have to have a phone to call in side. Then the person on the other end of the phone was VERY VERY rude!! She spoke over me told me it would cost $50 or $60 to get a seasonal license for an out of state license. I explained how I have NOT been able to get a ND driver's license because of Covid19 and how the DMV is open one week then closed the next....she proceeded to ARGUE with me about how I could obtain one on line she asked if I had a "smartphone" ...... Does they matter? What about the out of state folks that CANT access the internet to obtain a license?!?! Whatever!! The grounds on the other hand are AWESOME!!!!! From what I can tell, but be prepared to be rudely, interrupted by the person on the other side of the phone..... I suggest.... I don't know WHAT to suggest......... Sorry folks..... Good luck getting a fishing license in ND if your not a resident.....just saying...... Not impressed!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great place to purchase your hunting and fishing licenses with friendly staff. Love taking our kids there so they can walk around and look at all the different mounts of all the animals of ND. Plus you can go for a walk around all the trails or go fishing in the pond outside of the building

Nice place and nice people, a couple of small lines at the windows but they moved fast (the lines) and we were in and out with no problems or complications.
