The Bristal Assisted Living at West Babylon

I love that my family can be in a place as nice as The Bristal Assisted Living but the overnight woman that works weekends (not too positive about the other days considering I only call weekends) is one of the most unpleasant people I have ever come across. Extremely rude and it almost seems as if she's incapable of being friendly. Curious as to why they would hire somebody like that, especially considering my family member informed me she killed somebody with a vehicle last year, extremely shocking she was hired to work within a community of people who need care and kindness.

I had my mom there. The place is very nice and the food is good. People are friendly who work there. The one problem and it was a big one, was the doctor they used for the facility. He is a quack. I am in charge of everything for mom including medical. He put my mom on a anti depressant when she was on one already. So now she was on 2 anti depressants. Nobody told me about this or asked me. Before I took her out of there she was like a zombie. I brought her to a place by me and they took her off the meds. She is so clear now. Like a different person. Also about 2 weeks after she was out of there I got her Medicare statement and he put in for 6 physical therapy treatments which she didnt get. If you bring your parents there it's all good but do not let the doctor near your loved ones. Use their own doctor. He is a thief and the pits.

Beautiful place to work, with wonderful staff and great work environment. This is the first job I've ever truly enjoyed, they truly treat staffing with care. The residents are some of the kindest and sweetest people you'll ever meet.

My parent disliked this place very much. The staff was not caring and neglectful even when you paid for extra services. My parent passed after 7 months in this facility. Beware!
