If you are looking for a doctor or a PA that really cares and has your best interest at heart you need to meet Dr. Dawn Smiley-Byrd and Whitney Lipsey, PA. I have been going to them for a lot of years. They listen and help find solutions to your concerns and health issues and they are now like family to me. Along with them comes their staff who are very friendly and professional. I love you guys and appreciate you more than you know, I am so glad I finally found you after going through multiple Endocrinologists over the past 14 years. I spent some time with Dr. Smiley-Byrd this morning and came out feeling great! She is just so kind. Thank you, Susan Coussan

As good as the Doctor might be, I can not recommend this place. I waited two hours for my appointment, then an additional 30 minutes to do my labs. In which I had to return and redo. They never call the prescriptions in to the pharmacy, I have had to reach out to the office several time just to have them send script over. They also prescribed insulin without a prescription for the needles in order to take the insulin. Without a prescription for the needles, insurance can not be applied, and was forced to pay out of pocket. They finally did fill the prescription 2 weeks later. The staff is rude on the phone, if you can actually speak to someone, most of their communication is handled via the portal , and has a two day delay on it. They actually told me to stop messaging the portal and to be more patient.... A month to wait on lab results and a prescription I feel is more than patient... Your office is only as good as the people working in it. They need to clean house!!! When the Dr. tells you to call the after hours number in order to get to them faster..... Um... That's a problem.

After never ever receiving a bill or being asked for payment I just received a letter from a collection agency trying to collect a $60 co-pay that I was never billed for & not once ever have been asked to pay by the office. This is unacceptable. I am somebody who pays very close attention to my credit, so to be sent to a collection agency over something I haven’t received a bill for… Especially a co-pay… Absolutely ridiculous!
