Really can't beat this drive up. Right at the base of the East Arm of the Grand Traverse Bay there is Mitchell Creek that runs through the property and to the bay. They have kayaks you can use to access the bay too. It's on 31 next to 3 Mile rd which makes having to make a left on 31 a non issue. 3 mile provides a great easy way to get back into TC or out of town to the south to explore the Arbutus and spider lakes region. I come to TC regularly for work and I always have enjoyed my stay at Mitchell Creek.

This place is awesome! Fire pit cornhole kayaks to use. Gazebo to sit at. Grills if you wanna cook. Rooms are great clean. Owners are very nice people. Definitely would stay again. Well done Dave and Amanda!

Clean comfortable rooms. Well maintained grounds. The cabins are adorable. Full kitchens, two bedrooms. Right on Mitchell Creek. Kayaks available to float out to the bay. Restaurants and stores within walking distance, the bay is right across the street. Fire pit on the creek The owners are so accommodating and all around great people. Highly recommend this place

Was on a run and had one of the worst stomachaches I’ve ever had. The owners allowed me to sit in the AC of the lobby area, use the restroom, offered me water and anything else to make sure I was ok before leaving even though I was not a paying costumer. After receiving such amazing service and kindness as a runner in a bad situation, I cannot imagine how incredible the service would be as an actual guest
