This is a pretty average waffle house. This is the one I usually go to and the food really depends on who you get as a waitress. Some of the waitresses are better than others. Overall the food is decent if your waitress remembers to tell the chef to cook all of it.

Unsure how anyone finds this food tasty. Chocolate chips are thrown on the thinnest waffle but at least it’s fresh. This is the place you go to when nothing else is open and you have no choice but to suffer through the food. Highly displeased with my experience at what I thought would be a delicious meal.

I normally like Waffle House, but this is my first time at this location (Oaklawn Blvd.). Nobody paid any attention. I gave my order and received it in portions but was never acknowledged. I never received my waffle and had to have the $1.25 (?!) deducted from my bill. An employee cleaned off a table for another couple, but never wiped it down and still seated them.

Good experience: The staff was very friendly and courteous. Meal was prepared and delivered fast. The restaurant was clean....there was a staff member outside sweeping the parking lot immediately Infront of the store. FOOD: Don't expect gormet; This is a waffle house. STAFF: The waitress helping me was very attentive, ensured I had what I needed and I was satisfied with my meal and service. THE NEGATIVE: The sugar, syrup, and ketchup containers were not the cleanest. They are "community" served vs individual packets. OVERALL: Good experience. I would go back.
