I rent at dollar a lot. I have never had a worse experience than I had at MCO. First, the person I checked out with at the desk tried to add insurance even though I told him three times that I didn’t want insurance. He tried to lie to me at first and say it was required in Florida. This person is actually working at the thrifty counter. When I got my car it has an alert that the tire pressure is low. I let the employee working there know and he said it didn’t matter. Really really poor customer service

Car broke down 2nd time driving it. stayed stuck on the side of the road for hours, never got replacement car, ruined the entire trip, never got any refund despite being unable to use the car the first day we got it. Never again Dollar.

87 miserable days with a Chevy Spark that had 42k miles. Supposed to get a free upgrade to intermediate but some line about nothing available. Except for a row of non-micro midget cars in the garage (I'm 6'3" with 4 checked bags and 2 carry-ons, total joke). First time I've had a rental with more than 5k miles on it, and I rent a lot. Huge waste of $4.2k. Do not recommend.

I believe your friend would have to go to get the car with you, and at that point, add you as a second driver. Most will require to see the card at time of pickup.

If you live in Kansas or Missouri you need to have a major credit card. If you are coming in via airplane you can use debt but they require 2 forms of identification (anything with your name on it), a return flight from the mci airport, and a soft credit check.

all of the cars are 2016-2017 all come with electric something. some still have manual seats. can you better explain what you mean electronic gadgets?
I've rented before and returned it very dirty ( outside only, from dirt roads) when I went on vacation and also went to small towns to visit family. Never was charged, was told it was normal wear.
