Would not go to this place. Have several friends who say negative things about this practice. The front lady is rude and disrespectful as well. STEER CLEAR!

Extremely vague, short, disrespectful, and unreliable. Paid $600 initiation fee, then told if I wanted to ask Dr. Haller any follow up questions it would be $150 for a consultation. This business REEKS of Corruption and Greed. It really is a shame. Dr. Haller seemed nicer in her mugshot.

I am a 30 year old patient currently under Dr. Haller’s care with an appliance to stimulate jaw growth. She is kind and knowledgeable and really cares about improving patient’s lives. I will now be bringing my daughter as well and I’m grateful to have found a dentist specializing in airway health.

As a busy mom of 2 under 2, I don’t usually have time to leave reviews on here. But I absolutely had to because Dr. Haller and her office staff Ana are absolutely wonderful. If you suspect your child may have a tongue or lip tie, I highly recommend you see Dr. Haller- she is God sent. She takes the time to listen to you and the signs and symptoms baby and mom are experiencing, as it should be. Dr. Haller is so wonderful at explaining tongue ties and how it affects breastfeeding and swallowing in general as well as long term effects of leaving a tongue tie untreated. And she is ALWAYS available if any questions or concerns come up along the way. I simply cannot recommend her enough. An excellent clinician! She did a release for my 8week old and a couple weeks later released my 15month old. And my husband plans on seeing her to have his ties released as well as to pursue treatment for his sleep apnea.

I have yellow stains on my teeth. Can teeth whitening help remove these?

Dental Solutions of South Florida and Tongue Tie South Florida | Sep 29, 2019
Dental Solutions of South Florida and Tongue Tie South Florida | Sep 29, 2019

Yes, teeth whitening can help. Yellow stains on the teeth are usually caused by a buildup of debris, food particles, and plaque on the tooth enamel (the outer layer of the tooth). During the teeth whitening process, these stains are cleaned off far more effectively than merely brushing your teeth. However, teeth whitening is not a permanent procedure. You will need to brush and floss your teeth regularly afterward to prevent these stains from returning. For permanently white teeth, consider veneers.

I keep getting cavities. Could you help me find out the cause?

Dental Solutions of South Florida and Tongue Tie South Florida | Sep 29, 2019

Cavities are caused by the acid created by bacteria in your mouth. The more sugar and carbohydrates you feed the bacteria, the more acid they produce. A diet low in sugars and carbohydrates along with good home care should help you keep your teeth healthy.

Can you help me with tooth sensitivity?

Dental Solutions of South Florida and Tongue Tie South Florida | Sep 29, 2019

Tooth sensitivity happens when the outer layer of the teeth, namely the tooth enamel is removed, and the nerves underneath are exposed. When these nerves come in contact with hot or cold food or even air when you open your mouth, it can cause a sharp pain. Sensitivity can be alleviated by repair of cavities or applying a fluoride varnish. We recommend you visit us for a dental exam to find out any potential issues with your teeth.

Is Invisalign as effective as metal braces at straightening crooked teeth?

Dental Solutions of South Florida and Tongue Tie South Florida | Sep 29, 2019
Dental Solutions of South Florida and Tongue Tie South Florida | Sep 29, 2019

Both Invisalign and metal braces have their own set of pros and cons. Metal braces can usually align your teeth faster as compared to Invisalign. On the other hand, Invisalign is removable and is transparent so that they do not look unappealing. In short, the choice between the two forms of aligners is a matter of personal choice and preference.

Do I need to visit you regularly after I have started using Invisalign?

Dental Solutions of South Florida and Tongue Tie South Florida | Sep 29, 2019
Dental Solutions of South Florida and Tongue Tie South Florida | Sep 29, 2019

Yes, you will need to visit regularly. Since Invisalign is designed to align misaligned teeth properly, you will need to get your aligners readjusted from time to time as your teeth move. We usually recommend monthly visits to adjust the aligners so that they keep functioning optimally. However, the frequency of visits can vary from person to person.

Are there any age restrictions for Invisalign?

Dental Solutions of South Florida and Tongue Tie South Florida | Sep 29, 2019

There are no strict age restrictions for people who want to use Invisalign for aligning their teeth. As long as a person has completely shed their baby teeth and now has a full set of permanent teeth, they can get Invisalign.

I have a gummy smile. Can you help with that?

Dental Solutions of South Florida and Tongue Tie South Florida | Sep 29, 2019
Dental Solutions of South Florida and Tongue Tie South Florida | Sep 29, 2019

Frequently, we can. A gummy smile is a condition in which a more than usual amount of gum tissue is visible when a person talks or smiles. While the condition does not affect the performance of the teeth and the gums, many people still prefer to rectify it due to aesthetic reasons. We can help treat it with a laser procedure. If you are in Coral Gables, talk to our dentist and schedule an appointment for a dental exam.

While the exact answer to this question can vary from person to person, it is safe to say that, on average, a thorough dental cleaning session can take a minimum of 30 minutes. For a person who brushes and flosses their teeth regularly, the dental cleaning would take a comparatively shorter amount of time as compared to someone with poor oral hygiene.

Do I still need a dental cleaning if I brush and floss my teeth daily?

Al Soto | Sep 29, 2019
Dental Solutions of South Florida and Tongue Tie South Florida | Sep 29, 2019

Over time, food particles and debris can get stuck in the gaps between teeth and lead to caries and other dental problems. Although you can remove a majority of these particles through brushing and flossing regularly, there are still some that can remain stuck in hard-to-reach areas of the mouth. This is why it is always recommended to get a dental cleaning every 6 months to keep your teeth looking and functioning at their best.

This is why it is important to schedule a dental exam at least twice a year.
