I’m a disabled worker and I try to become a tenant my recent landlord Matt Clark decided to sell the property which I’ve been renting for 8 1/2 years. I was told that this place was very good they understand disabilities and what not. Yet I’ve been trying to get in this facility Since May 2022. The office staff are very out of touch with dealing with people with disabilities and hardships Belinda never return phone calls honesty and integrity is not one of her strong points. Kelly the office manager never returns phone calls and never able to speak to. I was preapproved for three bedrooms in August I was told by Kelly that I needed $719 to move in. Upon waiting to turn that in on that Friday I try to add my mother to my lease due to her upcoming back surgery. I was being denied for a four bedroom. I was denied due to my mothers background so I then asked can I still get the three bedroom. I was told by Belinda that I had to reapply and the fact that I was approved for A three bedroom that I ask for a four bedroom adding my mom that I may not be approved. Then I was told to obtain paperwork for my emotional support dog. I contacted my mental health services and they provided that I even asked for my mental health Case Manager to start advocating for me because I felt like the office was purposely not trying to help me and being very discriminatory against me. I even called the underwriting office left several messages no return phone call I wanted to experience the beauty of Pineview estates because my children have many friends that lives there and also one of my children stay in their school district Kearsley schools but at 2:43 yesterday I was told that I was denied I still have not gotten a letter a phone call anything stating why . Me and my family have been homeless since July 22 and how Pineview estates have done me makes me not want to live. And I’m shocked that they are the ones that are helping the elderly the working poor in the area of Flint Township and they get to pick and choose who they deal with.
