I had the pleasure of working with Cindy. She was beyond helpful and amazing. I tired on several dresses and had a hard time finding one that I was looking for. I fell in love with a allure bridal gown by Madison James, however I didn’t like the tulle skirt. Cindy told me I could do a skirt change to a chiffon skirt. I took a chance and went with the custom skirt change and just picked up my dress and I am absolutely in love with the dress. Cindy saw my vision and made my dream dress come out life. I can’t wait to wear my dress in May. It is exactly what I was looking for.

After having been to a few other shops, I felt like I had an idea of what I was looking for and the consultant did an amazing job of listening to what I was looking for and pulling dresses that fit my vision. Even though both myself and my family picked some dresses to try on, the two dresses I ended up absolutely loving were ones she picked! The selection of plus size gowns was also pretty large, which was great! I will say, this is the first time I’ve been to a shop that charges an additional price for the gown if it is plus size. I get it’s more material cost, but was a little surprised. Regardless, I was having such an amazing time, I was ready to cancel upcoming appointments at different shops to schedule another appointment at Eva’s in two weeks when my bridal party was in town- I told her I had them flying in from across the country to say yes to my dress with them, but then I felt like things shifted toward a hard sales pitch intended to get me to buy my dress the same day. One of the dresses was just slightly above budget. I was told I would get the best pricing if I bought my dress that day because they would give the greatest discount, and if I came back again, even in two weeks, they would discount some but I would pay more for the dress. I was told if I was between two dresses I could pay a 500 deposit that day and come back with my bridal party in two weeks and make the final decision that day, but if I chose neither dress, the deposit was non-refundable. It ruined my experience to feel like the focus changed to making a sale and like I was being pushed really hard to buy a dress that day when I said many times how important it was to have my bridal party present. The experience to that point really had been SO great but as much as I loved the gowns, I won’t be going back because I felt like I was negotiating for a car and not buying my wedding dress. I also was told, after I was in a gown I loved, photos were not allowed in any of the dresses unless I bought it, and was told that it was due to exclusive contracts with designers, which could be. But seeing as my wedding will probably be the most photographed day of my life, it was disappointing and should have been communicated before the appointment began. I went back to see if I missed it on the website, and it isn’t there. Again, I’ve been to a number of other shops and never had that experience. In summary, I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you’re ready to buy your gown the same day….
