Yes the hours have changed because covid
Very busy but that they always make room. Let them know upon arrival
They have 1 type of gluten free bread but will make sandwiches with it or use it for toast. It's really good!
None that they advertise on their menu...
I’ve called them before and asked about a reservation and was also told they don’t do them. I’m not sure why the discrepancy.
Parking lot next door. Less than a few minutes walk.
Yes, I've also been told this as well as you need your entire party to be seated
There is a parking lot next door that is $7 for 2 hours. They do not take reservations for lunch, it is first come first serve. Hence the wait... Absolutely no way to tell how long the wait will be until the day of....
You need to walk in with a face mask and once you're sitting down you can take it off to eat
No, the entire city of Chicago is closed for dine in until further notice. They are open for take out.
THE best I have had in my 66 years!!! They make their own kraut and pickles for the side, Deelucious!! Get fries to go with too, they are terrific. I ate there mucho times on vacay, they remembered me each time!
They have booths that should work well for you.
Real good breakfast of course! Get the lox platter
I just tried and they responded with they are not allowed to give wait times over the phone and you can only place your name on the list in person. So short answer is no.
No and the owner gave the employees an extended vacation last year, closing down for almost 2 weeks. ALWAYS best to call
They don't accept reservations. You have to have your whole party with you to be seated, so you may want to go in person and add your name to the list ahead of time.
At peak, times there IS a no join policy. Depends on how busy they are. The no join policy is actually posted at the front of the diner
Street parking on Michigan, you have a better chance to find a spot south of roosevelt. Spothero usually always has spots down there as well.
