-waited about 15 mins to get seated -after being seated we waited 30 mins to just get silverware and bread (no plates were given) -waited 10 mins to actually get our drinks and order -waited for about an hour for our order, got annoyed, stopped a random waiter (not ours) and asked for a manager -ignored by manager (she made eye contact with us after being told she needed to see us) -another random waiter asked us what we were waiting on, we told him, we never saw him again -manager finally came 20 mins later, asked us what we were waiting on -by now we still didn’t get refills, the ice in my cup literally melted by this time -15 mins later we finally got our food, my create your own pasta (rigatoni w/ Pomodoro) was obviously microwaved and the noodles were sitting there so long they hardened -food was sloppily put on plate (splattered all over) -the other meal (mamas trio) was cold -after that we just walked out, the food looked absolutely disgusting… like it had been sitting there for the whole time we were waiting

This Macaroni Grill location in Nashville is such a wonderful place. Went out with a few friends last night and had a great experience. The food was wonderful--and so generously portioned that I had plenty left over and legitimately look forward to having it again for lunch today. Highly recommend the 2 for 12 appetizer deal. Every person on staff there was very friendly and helpful, and I want to specifically mention that our server Levi went above and beyond and was absolutely terrific, especially considering we had a fairly large party. I don't usually leave online reviews of places, but it looks like more reviews of this place, and lately many restaurants in general, have tended to be a bit too critical of hardworking and understaffed places that are spread pretty thin right now because of broader issues related to economics and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This place is great. The bread and oil, the pasta, it's all so good. It's unquestionably a solid five stars. Most everyone is going through a lot right now, and being able to go out to eat at a place as warm and inviting as this Macaroni Grill was honestly a real bright spot in a tough week. Thanks y'all!

The food was good. The sauce for the Shrimp Portofino was thicker than I like, but the meal was still good. You can never go wrong with a good Caesar Salad. The trio was tasty. All three of us had food left over from our meals. Service was a bit slow but that could be due to the lack of help.

First off, I forgive them for lack of quality service and quality food, due to lack of HELP. This is an ongoing problem for many restaurants and businesses these days. However, if you are going to open your doors for business with limited staff, you have to step way up to keep patrons coming back. My salmon was cooked hard as a brick. I sent it back and received one as firm as a mattress. I suppose if I had sent it back once more I would have received one as soft as a feather. 🙄 🙄🙄🙄🙄 OK, I'm back. Our server was also the manager. He was all over the place....frazzled, but calm at the same time. My friends and I felt really sorry for him. On a good note, the pasta was delicious 😋. We also really enjoyed our endless Caesar salads and bread. This helped tide us over during the looonnnng time before our food arrived....(refer back to the previously mentioned salmon). I hope help comes soon. This could have been a 2 rating. 😳
