Went apple picking in September. They do not charge an entry fee which is nice. My family had a great time.

The cider donuts are worth the ride!! They were fresh, chewy, and amazing! The bakery inside is also very good.

Love to go to Battleview Orchards with the family to go apple & peach picking.. Such a wonderful way to spend quality time with our family's. So much fun especially for the little ones. The baked goods are so delicious as well !!
As always a fabulous time picking Strawberry's !
Update: The staff needs to be informed on a daily basis exactly which apple is available for picking & the location. Checked your Instagram page, stated Macintosh was available arrived & asked staff where to pick, he responded no Macintosh for another 3 weeks, they were available but in another area of the orchard. Need signs or provide better info for people who travel more than 1 1/2hrs to get there.
Another thing, why are tips not allowed? These young kids work super hard especially during crazy busy time, they should be allowed a little bit of extra cash in appreciation for all the hard work & on their feet all day !! Must support & encourage the younger generation !!
Today sign said waiting for peaches to ripen for picking
Do you still have peaches pick up on 8/20?

Go to their website, it lists apples by varieties and when the best time to pick. Do remember it's fruit with appeal ( a peel), lol
Do you need a car to get around?

Yes, but only if you're in the field to pick fruits and vegetables. But you can also get to the field by walking, which is 5-7 minute walk from the store. You'll also need cash in hand because they do not accept card and there's no atm inside. But there's a shopping complex that is a 4 minute drive away. In the shopping complex there's a Walgreens, PNC bank.
For picking information it's best to reach out to them on their Instagram page. This is where you'll have the most up to date info on all picking dates on the orchard.
In the orchard itself it only has limited picnic tables which most times are always filled & they have a section behind the food area that has hay for seating but not really comfortable & you'll get hay all over yourself..
There's never been an entrance fee. This place is buy as you go. We've been coming here for well over a decade and try our best to support this great farm. The people are great and we've never had a bad experience here.
You have to use your judgment out on the fields on the apple picking too many people wear your mask but definitely inside the store you have to wear your mask
Not today. Cherries after 22nd when I asked yesterday
Hello;
I need white, white pumpkins for wedding decorations/centerpieces, etc. for next October 3rd, 2020. I saw you had white pumpkins - but most were not WHITE, WHITE. Are you able to get stark white pumpkins and can we order in advance?
Expensive, and not so great. Picked 5 pumpkins there two weekends ago. Two big, 3 medium. Spent 37 dollars and only one of the pumpkins didnt rot. Be careful about how u r picking them
Yes, strollers are allowed in the store except for a few weeks in the fall when they are very busy. The doors and aisles are fairly narrow so smaller strollers would be easier to manuever. Park close to the store entrance to stay on the blacktop otherwise you will be wheeling over rocks.
If you "like" their Facebook page, they update nearly daily with price and type of apple availability. Price is based by the pound how much you pick (this yr around $1.40/lb I believe).
Yes its a great time.. Good variety as well... Def recommend the country store after. However the orchard part is cash only so make sure you bring some... I waited on line to get in only to have to turn around get cash and wait in line again.. Happy picking!
Can I take the apples that fall to the ground for deer feed?

If it's from the orchard, they'll weigh it. You can ask 4 utility apples tho I believe they use them for their cider and baking. They're very nice people, worth asking.
I'm almost certain they don't grow pears of any kind. Sour cherries, strawberries (spring) peaches, nectarines, (summer) apples, pumpkins (fall). Dont miss the amazing pies, best in monmouth county (sugar free varieties too) and of course hot cider donuts.
