Constantly, can never get a hold of anyone here @ this office! Been trying multiple times,All I get is a useless automated system that reroutes me back to the beginning, of where I initially started. You call an extension, you reach no one! You can't even leave a message to anyone here, that's pure insanity!

Absolutely useless in helping ppl. I had my GA and food stamps interview yesterday and my interviewer told me to call this place for rent assistance. I called, was transferred to 5 different ppl. The Last lady, who was sympathetic to my situation, told me the state can't help me because I don't have a start date on when I am going to receive my unemployment benefits. I have a print out of what I will make weekly, but that's not enough for the state. All she could do is refer me to churches. Govt is useless by design I'm starting to think.

How do l check the status of my tanf
Monmouth County Div. Of Social Services
If you are inquiring about Monmouth County Division of Social Services on Kozloski Rd in Freehold, No appointment is necessary. Office hours are 8:30-4:30. Due variable staffing levels, I would suggest you come early to make sure you can be seen and complete all necessary paperwork without a second trip. You'll want to bring all documents you think you might need ID, Proof of residence, green card, papers showing your immigration/refugee status, etc to make the process quicker.
I think you call your insurance company
There is a housing program at social services you can call you local office and they should be able to assist you with homeless prevention.
8:30 am-4:30pm
Today is Election Day, and all government offices are closed today.
Also I really DON'T like it here in NJ at all and I really DON'T like Maryland either also because I really do wish to move out of NJ and move to Florida also because I really do like it better in Florida also because I really do like it better in Florida better than here in NJ and better than Maryland also because I really have been to Florida before and Florida is really a very very beautiful awesome state also because Florida is really way beyond better than NJ or Maryland also because the town in FL I really do wish to live in is really Boca Raton, FL is actually because the love of my life Ariana Grande was really born raised and from Boca Raton, FL also because so that way I can really stay close by to the love of my life Ariana Grande and her parents Edward Butera and Joan Grande and the rest of her family in Boca Raton, FL also because the love of my life Ariana Grande still lives in Boca Raton, FL today also because Boca Raton, FL is a very very nice beautiful town!
Social Services doesn't have counselors, you can get a list of places that do. You can try CPC or Mental Health Association for counseling.
