Exciting museum with many real exhibits. You can feel the history.

Amazing history comes alive. Enjoyed seeing all the weapons, vehicles and other amazing gear, as well as learning what it takes to be a navy seal. The museum has exhibits for different battles and conflicts that were very interesting. One of the coolest things is an obstacle course outdoors (modeled after the Coronado one) which you can take if you sign a waver.

Being a Navy Veteran, this place has been on my list for a while. I finally got the opportunity to go today. (9/3/22) It's an INCREDIBLE experience. A very well laid out museum with tons to see and interact with. It really brought back a lot of memories for me. If you are planning on going, set aside a GOOD block of time. Also try to go when the weather is good because there is a lot to see outside on the grounds as well. Just an overall incredible experience. I look forward to going back, hopefully with friends and share all the history contained therein.

We spent approximately 3.5 hours there. We even revisited some displays after being too emotional the first time seeing them. The watercraft displays outside are equally impressive. Please, do not rush through this treasure. It is time well spent. Also, be sure to look up, as there are some displays hanging overhead.
Don't worry I am French and my son of 11 years old doesn't understand a single word of English and he really appreciated the museum...
I don't recall anything from a specific team, however, as Dan said, there is a lot if stuff on display, so it's possible. I'm sure you could call and ask, the people there are great.
We sure do! Please check out our Online Store: https://shop.navysealmuseum.org
It is totally interesting, they will have the joy of seeing and reading documents such as the surrender of Japan, the October crisis, etc. You can also see the weapons that were used in the 2nd world war as well as Vietnam and many more

They should be open but call just to be safe.
From January 1943 to February 1946, more than 3,600 young American volunteers trained in Fort Pierce as members of Naval Combat Demolition Units and Underwater Demolition Teams.
When I visited the museum they have in exhibit logs from the first teams in Ft. Pearce. And also names of the first ones. I don't know if they have this particular team. My advice? Call them.

I wouldn't know. We only visited a short time. I would suggest checking it out tho
The tours are self guided. You can go and wander freely throughout the museum & grounds
There isn't any training just a museum honoring the first Naval Seal Training on the Florida coast. But if i am not mistaken there were postings for private classes and fees.
They can tell you that at the museum they are very knowledgeable
They do have a tour guide, but most visitors do the self guided. Plan on spending a few hours @ the facility.
About 848 - 1070 miles, depending on the route you take.
Yes. And it's a great museum!
It's not far from Downtown Ft. Pierce. There are great restaurants, craft beer and cider places and a winery.
