I belong to a seniors’ Group some of whom need wheelchairs or walkers. We would like to do an overnight trip to visit the museum. What other attractions, hotels, restaurants are nearby?

It's not far from Downtown Ft. Pierce. There are great restaurants, craft beer and cider places and a winery.

I recall seeing a museum on the island where Jensen Beach is located, not far from the museum. Chuck's Seafood is a fantastic restaurant and it's not far from the museum. I'm trying to think of other attractions nearby, those two are the first ones that came to mind. The beach there is beautiful, if Beach wheelchairs could be rented. And I think it is likely that there will be an entity which offers them. The beach there is expansive, beautiful and so peaceful...that alone is a great "destination " to incorporate into such a trip. I can tell you that the folks at the Seal Team Museum are so kind and helpful, I think I would call them for additional info, which I believe they would be happy to provide.
