October Kitchen has been a life changing resource for my girlfriend and I. She is an ICU nurse and I have congestive heart failure - Her work schedule is insane and healthy eating is hard, I have a ton of dietary restrictions due to my health that include low sodium and it’s very difficult to maintain without some help. October Kitchen has provided a solution for both of us - We’ve lost weight, we feel better, we eat better outside of the meals and have carried the portion control and meal best practices into our own cooking. My diet has never been better and after a lifetime of disordered eating, I’m finally making some progress. The food is absolutely delicious, there is no way I’m making anything this healthy and good tasting on a daily basis, these people are wizards or something. The staff is wonderful, the customer service is excellent, the quality of ingredients is top notch, the convenience is unmatched. With the cost of food prices rising, we looked at what we were spending and throwing away randomly and what it would cost to eat this healthy on a daily basis via our own shopping and cooking. It wasn’t that far off, and if we wanted to branch into more expensive proteins, it was cheaper to use October Kitchen. We eliminated food waste, saved time, got higher quality ingredients, more variety and much healthier meals for a comparable price. Easily worth it. So worth it. Beyond worth it. We use the bundle option of ten meals every single week, it reduces cost per meal from them significantly and it’s become the foundation of our diets. We can’t make healthy meals with this much variety cheaper than what they sell them to us. Could not be happier with our experience with OK and would 100% recommend to anyone.

We are crazy about their blueberry 🫐 However, lately their have been some errors in our orders. The young sounding staff member told me to check her work! Are we in high school or something? Am I bumped up to supervisor or something ?!

Outstanding cuisine. Well prepared. Great delivery system. I would have continued purchase of October Kitchen’s meals, but have moved out of state. For those who remain in the great State of Connecticut, I highly recommend trying some awesome October Kitchen products. Best regards. 😀

If you have food allergies BEWARE! Instead of using the widely used industry -standard abbreviations such as GF with a circle around it for gluten free and a K with a circle around it for Kosher they have made up their own cute little chart where GF means garlic free and K means renal friendly. After emailing them my concerns of mislabeling allergens and how dangerous it is I was met with very unprofessional emails back saying they can do whatever they want and if I “have full-blown Celiac” I shouldn’t eat at their establishment. They have “wheat free” as their label for something that should say gluten free because gluten does not only come from wheat. They are seriously misguided with allergens. Don’t get me started on how something that isn’t Kosher is being labeled as kosher. Their own key for the labels or not this is downright dangerous and I would steer clear if you have food allergies!

Hi Sheila! We do not have an order minimum for our retail store, for deliveries we have a minimum of $30 before delivery fee, and tax. As for low sodium, we have an excellent menu where items indicated with a purple SS icon on them all have a sodium content of 500mg or less per meal! Absolutely William! You can pre-order online or by phone and pick up your order at the store or you can just stop by at your convenience and shop our retail cases. There's always something yummy to take home. Kitchen hours: Mon-Fri 9:30am-5:30pm and Sat 10am-1pm
