Three stars because the lady at the front desk act like she never had a person visit another person that was staying there. She left the desk and came through the side door to watch me get on the elevator. I figure I was a bit dark for her taste. silver lining is at least it looked clean.

The associates were very nice and were willing to help any way that was needed. I am using a cane to help my balance and the staff went out of their way to help including the general manager. I was very impressed with her because she cares about her guests. She was excellent. Location is perfect, close to interstate highway.

Stopped here on a road trip. Friendly, welcoming staff. Clean room. Good breakfast with good variety. It is just off the highway which is a plus but also have to deal with the highway noise. I took one star away due to the loud noise from the highway traffic making it hard to sleep. If you can get a room on the opposite side of the highway, I would recommend this hotel.

Nice place to stay while visiting for Alabama softball! It is close to interstate and short drive to university. Breakfast is free with hot choices available. Parking is crowded, if you get back late you can park at neighboring La Quinta. It is a little dated, but room was clean and staff was friendly. No maid service until after our second night and we just exchanged towels and got coffee. They do charge $100 deposit that is refunded back if no evidence of smoking. This should be made clear when reservations are made because what are you going to do at check in, especially if it is late?? We don't smoke, I just don't agree with it being charged and then refunded 3+ days later, and having to make sure it is actually refunded.
