People are nice here. Beds and sheets and pillows are all nice and soft and comfortable. The elevators are the slowest and are either not air conditioned or the AC in and around them doesn't work. 🤷‍♂️ That's my only real complaint tho. We always stay at the Embassy suites but when it's full this is a nice alternative.

We had a wonderful stay! Comfortable, clean, free breakfast, and great customer service. Definitely can’t ask for more! Good location if you don’t mind a short drive for things, it’s 1 mile from UA. IF you’re looking for close proximity walking to shops and food, then I recommend finding something on the other side of University Blvd.. past highway 43S

I stayed at the Home2 on business and had a great stay. The property was in an excellent location within walking distance to downtown restaurants and bars. The rooms were spacious and clean. Lauren at the front desk was the real MVP though. She greeted us with a smile and was eager to be of help. She was knowledgeable of the area and offered great suggestions. I'll certainly request to stay at the Home2 next time i'm in Tuscaloosa.

Dogs barking all the time and breakfast was terrible. There wasn't silverware available. And no refill cups for waffles, yet staff was everywhere. Also breakfast is not up to par on choices. You can make a waffle, bagel, or microwave oatmeal for something hot. Then there's cold cereal. That's it! Coffee was brown water. It was terrible..room was clean though.
