Holiday Inn Meridian E - I 20/I 59, an IHG Hotel

We arrived from Texas with our family of 5 to find out they gave our room away to someone else. The solution you might ask? A room with one king bed and one twin roll away, so you can imagine how comfortable we were. The room was FILTHY with what was CLEARLY bodily fluids DRIPPING down the the bed skirt. I have pictures! And you can forget about a hot shower. The water was cool to lukewarm, AT BEST. The mattress was UNCOMFORTABLE! It sunk down in the center of the bed and had us feeling like we were fighting to keep from rolling into the middle all night. The air was unreliable and we woke up sweating in the middle of the night because it wouldn’t turn on. The breakfast vouchers that were supposed to be included in our trip were not given to us until we asked about it at breakfast the next morning. We were given a room with only 3 towels even though there were clearly more in our party. When my daughter went downstairs to ask for more towels the next morning she was told they would bring them up. Why could they not just hand them to her? Who knows. We waited over and hour and decided to share towels because we had places to be and could not wait any longer. We left the room with a do not disturb sign on it as we did not want any house keeping. We come back and what do ya know? They went ahead and went in anyway? Who are we to expect privacy!?! Not a paying customer…😁 We won’t be back. If I were you I’d look elsewhere. Hey but on a positive note, they didn’t have any bugs!

What a beautiful hotel. I came in off the Highway and picked a location by how nice it was in the parking lot. This looked clean and lots of the reviews for other places weren’t good. I got the room on TravelEuro. It was $20 less than the desk price. And my room is HUGE!!! I’m very happy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Positive: Nice hotel, staff and room. Good location to restaurants. First time we¿ve tried the special where you choose the hotel for us but it was a pleasant surprise. Will do that again! Negative: No breakfast included was a disappointment.

I am a loyal IHG Rewards Member and this is the very worst experience I have ever had. I made a reservation before arriving for a King Suite. On check-in, the clerk told me I did not do that, but requested an executive king. After arguing for a while I quit. She was not a nice person and acted like I was bothering her anyway. After we had moved all of our things in I looked up the reservation and I was right. My husband and I were too tired to deal with it. The top floor was noisy all night long with doors slamming. The room was dingy. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly. On checkout I made a complaint which also seemed to fall on deaf ears.
