Very clean hotel inside and out!!!! Comfy Beds & pillows. I was very surprised to see the bathrooms were equipped with Dove Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash dispensers!!!!!! Breakfast is AWESOME!!! THE STAFF IS SUPER FRIENDLY and the Pool/Hot Tub area is super clean and very well kept!!!!

Positive: All of the employees from the lady at the front desk to the kitchen/breakfast staff was really nice. I felt appreciated as a guest. Negative: There were 2 convenient stores within walking distance but there weren¿t any restaurants really close to walk to if you don¿t have a car. The nearby restaurants seem close but are quite a distance away on feet in the heat!

Located about 1 mile South of Downtown Meridian off of 22nd Avenue at Roebuck Dri, this Holiday Inn Express sits above her peers and competitors in the area. To the East of Room 211 on the second floor and the entire 3rd floor allow for picturesque views of Downtown Meridian. Basic Rooms and Suites come equipped with miniature refrigerator, LG LED 49" to 53"" television, DirecTV, 2 sets of new/gently used bath towels, wash clothes, hand towels, a bath mat towel, soap, conditioner, body wash, 2 bars of soap, laundry & replacement towels on request and every morning. Express continental breakfast 7 days per week with cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, milk, orange juice, eggs, waffle & pancake maker, danishes, and muffins from which to choose. Guest laundry room, Fitness Center, indoor swimming pool and hot tub with unlockable sliding glass doors to open to the outside. 14' awning over two lanes of traffic for loading and unloading luggage at the hotel's main lobby and front desk entrance. Ice machine which is free to guests & Coca Cola vending machine which cost $1 for 12oz sodas on all 3 floors. 1 centrally located elevator with 2500 pound capacity. Stairwells/fire escapes on both the East and West end of the hotel which exit into the hotel parking lot. The main lobby is the only disappointment of the entire hotel and the pool was not open for Summer. The main lobby still has ample room for guests to meet pand mingle and big, two story high ceilings with 2 Bose or similar speakers. A main computer available for guests. Pamphlets of local attractions, restaurants, entertainment spots & events, and Museums & historically significant points of interest and/or muse. Free Wifi for all guests and free room to room and local phone calls. Long distance calls available for extra. The staff is helpful, inquiring, insightful, and easy to find 24 hours per day/7 days per week. Will make it a point to spend vacation time there in the future or at least stay with the Holiday Inn Express on Pensacola Beach. Manager, night staff, cleaning crew, cigarette lady, and gentleman who set the towels up like we were at the beach.

Don’t stay here unless if you’re cool with roommates. Place is infested with roaches. They moved me to a different room after seeing one crawling on the wall as soon as I walked in. The second room was covered in roach droppings and was worse than the first room. On top of that, the rooms were filthy and definitely weren’t cleaned properly. Can’t believe anyone would let a hotel get this way. Thankfully they did give me a refund with no questions asked.
