Magnificent Disconnect out in Nature with similar like-minded exploring campers.... Mosquitos not a problem like summertime.... Staff are All Friendly and eager to answer questions... Rangers are always available for Educational Programs.... I learned of a Magnificent Hunter Bird, Osprey, nesting in a couple of places.... All the self events you and your family can imagine and participate together; the park has kayaks and narrated tours for a cost.... Must be self sufficient and have your own supplies, I was amazed at the large number of Families and Fishermen that visit Flamingo... We will be returning again.... Ed in Florida....

Nice campground and a lot of stars out since it is a dark sky location. My only issue was that the dump station was within probably 20 feet of our campsite and the bathroom. Never had a dump station be right among the campsites.

This campground is in Everglades National Park. The sites only have electricity, no water or sewer.
Make your reservation, it was wise open k last weekend but bring mosquito repellent
