It is an awesome opportunity to assist with giving back to my community‼️ The less fortunate does not choose to find themselves in such situations, therefore it us a blessing and honor to help citizens eat & find their way back to more fortunate resources/resolutions🙏🏽❤
Hi Don. You would have to wait until Monday when the door is open at 6 a.m. and you can take a hot shower or do your laundry. One of the other. Stay for a nice free hot breakfast and after breakfast meet with our caseworker 2 interview for the men's Lodge. Unfortunately you cannot On the weekends. Entrance may take up to two weeks.
They're not open on the weekends. Only Monday through Friday from 7:30am to like 9:00am You have to attend their breakfast/morning devotion service to obtain their services and it starts @ 7:30am
No it is absolutely not a shelter. We are a men's Transformational Living Program with a 40 bed facility across the street from our main offices and breakfast Ministry. To get into the men's Lodge you must attend our breakfast Ministry and the doors open at 7:30 and cut off time for breakfast is at 8:15 a.m.. A new member will register at that time and then attend a briefing 8:30a.m. to interview for the lodge. That is not a guarantee that you will be accepted into the program. There are 4 phases of the program, 2 is a work program as you must gain legal employment and the third phase is continuing to work and attending all regular in-house meetings and scheduled appointments. The men are also required to take our financial planning class and open a savings account and contribute monthly. The lodge program can last up to one year and if you choose to continue the program then you move to our group homes one block away. The program is $5 a day but Phase 1 is sponsored.
Yes they can help with that
Just go there and they will tell you what you need to have
Breakfast is from 7:30am to 8:20am.
It's a 8 month program
Try the salvation army
Hi Danza. If you come in for breakfast Monday through Friday no later than 8 a.m. we can get you registered quickly. You'll be served a nice hot breakfast and then at 8:30 we do interviews for the men's Lodge. At that time you will meet with our caseworker, Debbie Jenkins to help you make a personal development plan. This will include things like your ID. We will give you a referral to get clothing. A background check will be done and once it is cleared you can enter the lodge. It is sponsored for the first week. During that time you will begin looking for work with our assistance. You have to be willing to make some changes in your life for the better. This is not a shelter but a men's transformational Living Program set up to help you succeed. Hope to see you tomorrow morning.
You will want to contact one of the daytime staff on Monday...and yes...I do believe that your efforts will be well received..after 6:30am will be a good time to call.
They have a thirty man shelter they just build like last year Reason I asking he still in prison getting realese in January we trying set something out so he want be on the street or somewhere that just want use him for his foods stamps What are other places. I look online but. but have found out much..the one I found other went out biss. Can u help or lead me in the right way like I said he in prison I dealing with his case manger in prison he get out in January
Unfortunately no. We are not a shelter. It is a men's Transitional Living Home. The Salvation Army currently takes women and Families. You'll have to call the shelter there to find out if they have any openings.
True Vine Ministries does operate a shelter called The Hope Center on Person Street although it is nothing like operation inasmuch. It is simply a shelter. We are a transitional living facility that actually works with the men. The Salvation Army receives women for 90 days but they rarely have openings. You can do a self-referral which means you just walk in or you can come to operation inasmuch and get a referral. Call the Salvation Army Haven shelter on Alexander Street and press option 3 to find about shelter there. I wish you luck and saying prayers for you. If you're struggling with addiction Roxie detox is a great place to start.
