I had reservations here to board my daughters horse, on the way threw st Louis her truck broke down, at 8pm. I called gateway stables not sure what I would do next. They came and rescued us !! Wonderful people! We live in Minnesota, but if we were looking for a riding stable, I would not hesitate to give them my business

The horses get good care, but I can't say the same for clients. Kelly's reputation is well known in the horse community.

Kelly is hands down the best in the business, most knowledgeable stable owner in the area. The horses are happy and recieve the best care.

We are competitively priced for local barns with similar amenities. All riders are required to wear helmets when mounted. Once you sign my liability waiver, what you do with your child and your horse is your business, provided there is no abuse or neglect.

What is the cost of pasture boarding?

Kit Ct--nope, not at 5am, or 10pm, or when we already have lessons scheduled, or during needed arena maintenance. Otherwise, there's always plenty of arena time available because, yep--we're small and private. She was told she didn't have to come every day because her horse would be taken care of if she couldn't make it with her always "unpredictable" schedule. In her short time here she was not a good fit (but her horse was great). She was not friendly to others in the barn (one of my boarders immediately warned me she was trouble), and couldn't be accurate about her plans or intentions here (even with many texts), making our attempted scheduling around her needs very difficult. The drama came, and then it left (along with my big feed scoop?), but thanks for the review, lol!! We always welcome honest, friendly horse lovers to come see (by appointment) if our facility suits you. If not, we wish you and your horse all the best, and hope you find yourself happy wherever you go--cheers!
