If you shop through the app some items do update., one of the Associates at the store told me that with the ever-changing inventory it's really hard for the system to keep up-to-date especially on grocery items but if you shop through the app and click the appropriate story or shopping at most general merchandise shows up with real-time inventory there's two tabs to choose from one says Walmart or shop this particular store
