They NEVER answer the phone at the pharmacy. If you call be prepared to be immediately hung up on after waiting for 20 min to talk to someone. I have no clue what is happening there…it’s maddening

Terrible pharmacy service. I had a prescription sent to the pharmacy on March 21st and was told it would be ready in 24 hours. After several days of waiting, I’m finally told that they don’t keep that specific medication in stock and that they had to order it from their warehouse in Dallas. Fast forward to today, March 31, and my meds still aren’t here. When we requested to have the prescription transferred to another location, we were told that since the Heights location had already billed my insurance, we couldn’t transfer. I have now been without my prescription for 10 days with no help or care from this location. When I asked if there were any samples or anything they could give to tide me over they just kind of shrugged and said there was nothing they can do. Absolutely ridiculous. I would give this pharmacy zero stars if that was an option.

This Walgreens is in a good location at the intersection of W. 20th & Yale. Clean store with good merchandise presentation. Walgreens has a good ad insert in the Sunday newspaper. They frequently run good sales on detergents, sodas, etc. Cigarettes prices are lower than most stores in the area.

As soon as the flood waters recede from the unanswered question of yours that accompanied hurricane Harvey.
I believe that they are closing an hour early for Christmas Eve. Normally, it would be several hours earlier. However, since it falls on a Sunday this year, and they would've closed at 6 p.m. anyway, the move to 5 p.m. is only one hour away.
