Older property, much older than most Hampton's I've stayed in recently. Orange and black carpeting. Missing hooks in rooms. Screw holes in walls. Extra wear on Formica. That said, my room was clean and quiet. The well stocked breakfast bar was the standard Hampton Inn fare and what was supposed to be hot was hot and what was supposed to be cold was cold. Parking tight if you arrive late. Hotel filled with summer sports club families, not business travelers. Stayed here because other local properties were full.

Hotel was very 'tired.' Desk chair in room was worn and showing threads. Plastic cover on door lock was missing. Peeling paint in pool area. Parking area could use some attention. Front desk and lady who attended to the breakfast were very nice. Bed was comfortable.

The hotel was not up to my standards. They did not clean my room even with a 24 notice. The breakfast was not that great either. In fact the first day of my stay, there was no breakfast when I went to the lobby. The second day, they were having an inspection or something and everything changed, the breakfast was there, the staff was there, they were super attentive. I stayed at Marriott and Fairfield inn as well but their breakfast, rooms, service and over all the hotel was way better than Hampton Columbia. I stayed 5 days and was super disappointed. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room was clean. Quiet floor, carpet look fairly new.. staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast food was a great variety But I must say, the prices of the snack and drinks in the Lobby is PRICE GOUGING and it’s truly a TURNOFF. But outside of that I had a great stay.
