We were told by a local that they had the best and cheapest breakfast- he was correct! They did not disappoint. We had the sweetest waitress and the food was amazing. Portions were the perfect size.

The food here is consistently good. Traditional breakfast or southern fare. Wait staff is always friendly and accommodating- very professional. The wait can be a bit much sometimes, unless you hit it at just the right time. Recently went, party of 3, and though there were “only a couple of parties in front of us”, still waited an hour. When one of our party went in to check, there were several open tables. Again, the waitstaff was perfect, but somehow the flow seemed off. I’ll still come back as it’s a wonderful and worthwhile establishment, and perhaps they are understaffed, but it just seemed a bit slower than I’m used to for a Monday mid morning “grab a bite to eat”. No offense intended at all. Please go and if the wait is tolerable, it’s worthwhile.

Seafood plate was delicious! Oyster burger was very good. Prime rib, i asked for medium well it was medium rare ( bloody) it had good flavor but not my preference. Someone in the family ate it. It was gone when I woke up the next morning!

I hate I didn't get pictures. Lots of standard country kitchen varieties. Got the local combo of 2x French toast, eggs, bacon. Coffee. French toast was much like I use to make when I was younger living in the farm. Wife ordered the ham. It was huge! Ham was much better than the bacon. Definitely go for the ham if you want a real country taste. Overall, great start to the day.
