It's the city of Gahanna police department! So why they feel the need to keep an officer speed trapping on Columbus bypass 270 at all times. It's bul$%!t. People just passing by Columbus getting pulled over by some a$$hole department to collect money. Columbus has there own freeway division and doesn't need them giving our city a bad reputation over a mile or 2 that passes their town

This morning, my dad was dropping us off at school. We go to school about 30 minutes away. And we had to get to school early, so he was speeding to make it on time. Although that wasn’t good, he still did it. We didn’t know, but a police officer was behind us(not the whole time) and when we turned onto North Hamilton Road the police officer was behind us. We thought he was going to pull us over. My dad knew that he was, but he didn’t. He drove behind us and then got next to us, looked at who we are and passed us. We are assuming that he saw that we were kids and assumed that maybe my dad was trying to get to school on time. We thought that he didn’t want to pull us over because he knew we would be late to school. But whether he knew that or not, we appreciate his actions or lack thereof. My dad said he won’t be speeding anymore. But thank you Mr. Officer. The police officer then proceeded to turn into a gas station and we assumed turn the other way, but all in all this was our encounter with the police officer. :)
