Be careful not to miss the drive in entrance. The turn to get in the Marriott is the same for Hilton. If you miss it go straight and U-turn down the road and u go through the mall in order to get back on the side of the hotel. The area is not absolutely quiet because the hotel is close to the highway. Free parking on site. The sound echoes in the rooms but we had a great relaxing time. The hot tub was fantastic. Breakfast is extra $. Waffles were no bueno.

Would not recommend this hotel, my stay was miserable. This is the second time I’ve stayed here, first night at 5 am being woken up to what sounded like elephants upstairs. We changed the room, that that didn’t help cause at 7am the housekeepers walked into our room after 2 knocks before we could answer. Not only that they were talking so loud the entire morning we could only sleep with pillows over our head. Then the front desk clerk didn’t check us out then back in correctly so later on in the day we got a call from front desk with the lady being extremely rude that we needed to check out and in again, making us go downstairs for a second time because it was done incorrectly in the first place. Then they gave someone our room later on in the day and the lady was trying to open our door for like 5 min and almost scared the life out of us. Very disappointing customer service and they charged me three times for what should have been with rates I didn’t approve of from booking!

Positive: The room was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. Negative: It really bothered me that there was no daily cleaning service. We were there for three nights. I had to seek out clean towels twice, take out my own trash and go get more toilet paper and coffee pods. Seemed that covid was the excuse for no housekeeping.

Several members of my firm and I recently spent almost two months in Riverhead for business. For those reading this that travel, you will understand that extended stays in hotels can be challenging. However, our experience at the Hilton Garden Inn made being away from home just a little bit easier. Our trip required that we utilize a conference room for the duration of our stay, and Rachel, the events mamager, was responsive when booking and extremely accommodating of all of our needs throughout the stay. Additionally, the staff at the hotel was terrific. Victoria, the food and beverage manager, was constantly checking on us to ensure we had everything we needed, even if it was just a strong cup of coffee at 4 AM. She never hesitated to make our stay just a little bit easier. The front desk staff was also very accommodating at all hours. Wes, the evening front desk clerk, and Ashely, one of the daytime front desk personnel, were especially helpful. Finally, one of the most challenging aspects of extended travel is finding decent food. Chef Wayne and the staff at the HGI has elevated typical hotel fair to restaurant quality cuisine. It was great to have delicious food options available just a few steps away from our conference room. Our overall experience was outstanding. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn for your hotel stay and any event needs you may have.

There is a bar but not much action. No happy hour when I went last summer. I have no idea about Jimmie Junkiee
If you are a Hilton Honors member you could choose to have the breakfast as a perk instead of points.
