This is a great hotel. I was in Riverhead for a business trip twice and was provided with a nice room, hot breakfast and lots of flexibility. Jess was particularly helpful when it came to some scheduling issues. She is great!

I loved this place. The front desk was so pleasant. I checked in a bit late and was scared I would lose my room. I called and was assured I would be fine. The room was a great size suite with a couch table and desk. Modern decor. It was chilly and rainy when I went SONo couldn’t enjoy the outdoor decor but hopefully next time.

We booked a block of rooms with this hotel for our wedding weekend on the North Fork of Long Island. We worked with Suzanne Lincoln who was SO incredibly helpful in arranging the block, sharing information, answering questions, and assisting with last-minute requests. All our guests were very happy with their stays and it was nice to be able to gather with other guests in the spacious lobby, at the bar, and over breakfast. We would absolutely recommend this property for groups or for family travelers. One thing that could be improved is the layout of the rooms. There was no closet (which for a wedding with lots of things to hang was challenging) and the room arrangement was a little strange. Also, we were staying off-season and it was very hard to find food, coffee, lunch within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel restaurants are either not open off-season or are closed from Monday-Wednesday which is when we were there. There are very limited take-out/delivery options in Riverhead. You would need to drive to get food, which might not be ideal for everyone. But, honestly, all the staff at the Hyatt were amazing and so great to work with. They were patient and helpful and we would definitely return and recommend it to others.

My kids enjoyed the indoor pool. The rooms were good. Breakfast there was good as well. Given the location you may have to park a block away or behind the hyatt were there's dirt and gravel which the wind will kick up and get all over car. The hotel is next to the Long Island Aquarium and near some parks and a Friendly's.
