I didn't like the food. Too much cheese and I didn't care for the enchilada sauce. The tamale was just ok.

Soooo much better than Chipotle. Very similar menu and free chips and salsa unlike that other place.

What a great place. They even have Machaca. Delicous breakfast burritos that are massive. Loved the salsa and chip bar as well as the horchata.

I was wondering if the refried beans were made with lard? Also, is the white rice made with broth or something? I was just curious because it says the brown rice is vegetarian, but nothing about the white rice.

Yes, there is a small amount of lard in the refried beans, it's added as an extra salty flavor. As for the white rice, it is cooked in a chicken base, where as the brown rice is cooked in a tomato base. The black or pinto beans with the brown rice are not only vegetarian friendly, but vegan friendly as well!

Does it take 22 minutes to get a tamale plate? Thats what it took on Sunday afternoon around 3PM. Also one female employee was talking so loud on her phone, that's all you could hear throughout. My dinner companion was almost through with his meal.

Depends on how busy and backed up the kitchen is.... I can't talk about how the phone situation, but in my opinion the food is always worth it.
