the interior needs some upgrades, but overall it was good! super friendly staff and beautiful sushi serving

really liked the service of the waiter guy. he remembered everything that he was asked (this is rare) cheap and unusual, a large selection of sushi and delicious. of the minuses is a long landing and only two waiters, while only one guy worked and coped very successfully, quickly. respect to him verbally here and I hope he got the tip that he left :)

Frustrated with costumer service. We came around 8pm waited for about 25 minutes ignored by staff to even stop for a minute...and then was told that they are behind and can't keep up with orders and not accept any new guests to serve. Seriously 🤬

Since my wife and sons favorite place for sushi other than Mikuni, but tonight was clearly an off night. We arrived at 7:45 to an empty restaurant. A woman was sweeping up the floor and the sushi chef was talking with her. They looked us in the eye but ignore us for 5 to 10 minutes. When asked if they were actually closed and we should leave they appeared startled and seated us. Two or three other tables got seated a little while after us but we proceeded to order and felt like we had the restaurant to ourselves. My Sushi Sashimi combo was surprising, and not in a good way. I have never had Sashimi so stuck together and soon I realized why. The sushi chef completely failed to debone the Hamachi. I have never had sashimi where the chef failed to debone it so it was a new experience and not one that I'd like to repeat. The three pieces were tightly connected to one another by four bones, the longest of which was about 3/4 of an inch long. An older woman who we didn't see when we first came in trade very hard to take care of us. I didn't have the heart to tell her how disappointing the food had been. She's the person that my wife is used to seeing, and she normally gives great service apparently. Today she was holding up the fort on behalf of coworkers who were not doing a great job. I'm sure we will be back based on my wife's previous past experiences with this restaurant, but if this was the first time I was ever exposed to them it might have been the last. A night out for sushi is never inexpensive, and I do have very high expectations for an expensive meal. The two of us ate until satisfied and we spent a little under $90 after tip. I would have felt it was a decent value had I had that meal at Mikuni, but I felt it was a little overpriced for the quality we had.
