Married here on April 22, 2022, we booked a year in advance and when we booked we couldn’t have been happier! But with many unexpected employee turn over, no notice of menu change until the tasting and a few other bumps in the road had been upset and ready to cancel. Understanding that many factors like Covid change how things work we held on tight and and had been promised a great day. Well the day has come and gone, and thinking to post a review or not for many months, I would never want another bride to feel less than or I would love for Water’s Edge to get it together! When asking real questions I was met with attitude, lack of organization, and comments that where uncalled for. The day of was unorganized, thankfully I had my own wedding coordination because getting any info from management was like pulling teeth. The management left as my wedding started, we had been left with no champagne to toast. I had to request our added dessert and some food was missing from the cocktail hour. I can deal with the mistakes but the attitude I was faced with for the year and day of planning still makes me sad. In the end we where left with an apology and a night stay but in the end 3 months later I am still dissatisfied and upset with what we went through.

The most beautiful resort I stayed at. The staff was very friendly and the resort is absolutely gorgeous. I had an amazing week. Restaurants on site were good and the beach/pool area were unbelievable.. I plan to return next year.. Only minor note is a few more shops for the guests(sundries etc) would be great..

The hotel is nice and is situated in a nice location on the water with a good view. Amenities and dining are ample. The staff were all very polite and offered a high level of service. The one issue we had was with the noise we heard from a wedding reception below our room. At over $600 per night one wouldn't expect this type of annoyance. It ended around 11 when the reception ended. It would have been fine if it were just my wife and I, but since we had the 2 children with us it was an inconvenience. I let the front desk know the next morning and they were apologetic and offered a credit towards our stay. We will come back but if we kids, will call and request a room away from any wedding receptions.

We booked a spa and relaxation package many weeks in advance of our stay and got a great deal for it. I had a wonderful experience at the spa receiving both a facial and a couples massage. The waiting room was quiet and offered free coffee/tea/juice. The men's locker room was on the smaller side however there are two beautiful showers and free disposable shaving accessories. The dinner portion of our package was outlandish in size but of great taste and quality. Bread as a starter, two appetizers, two entrees, two deserts, coffee and non alcoholic beverages included (nothing on the menu was prohibited). It was so much food. Customer service was lovely and they responded to our requests rapidly. A major drawback was the amount of children. For the cost of a nights stay it was upsetting to me that our neighbors had a bawling toddler that wouldn't stop yelling until 11:00pm the indoor pool was also occupied mostly by children and there didn't seem to be any adult only hours. Not that I dislike children but not really what I want to deal with on a pricey spa vacation, especially when they're not even my own. Overall I would recommend this resort to my friends and family.

Not 100% sure but I think it's 3pm
Yes they do, just a standard one. Filters too.
No issues swimming. Great place. Highly recommended in these trying times.
They had a love band at the outdoor restaurant on Saturday when we stayed!
Yes, they can. I had people visit me and they were able to use the pools and beach!! At the outdoor pool and beach they'll ask your room number and give wrist bands to you and your guests
I don't believe its heated but it was warm and it's a salt water pool
$39.95 for adults, children under 10 $22
I don't believe there is a outdoor pool, but what I do know is that you can get to the indoor pool and fitness room through the gift shop in the main building, and those are both open year round.
I review for Google.. I am unaware of that part of the operation.. Call and speak to a customer professional.. Enjoy the Sound.. I love Westbrook😀🐟🐟🐡
I believe so. Check their website. I know that they have people staying at the timeshares at that time. Enjoy
I have never seen one advertised but they are very nice at the front desk. I agree just give them a call. 😊
Yes full gym
No clue on that. Would think twice on going back. Bad experience from the room to the restaurant. informed employee as well as management, wrote a review they could care less. Their only concern was getting their money. Quite disappointing. Heard Madison Beach is a better choice. Will def try there later this year.
Are there any restaurants local to the hotel that I can just walk over too or is everything around too far that I would have to drive too?? Thanks
