The fee is $36 for a renewal or First Time ID, and a duplicate is $31.

Unfortunately we cannot yet issue first time Louisiana Licenses. We can add motorcycle endorsements to a current Louisiana License, however the course must be done with the Louisiana State Police in order for us to help.

Yes! If you have the title! If the car is financed or leased you need to have the financing institution mail you a copy of the title ! If you go to Abc titles they are going to take care of that for you!

Louisiana doesn’t do bonded titles. Email us your paperwork or bring it in and we’ll take a look. There might be other options.

I have to remove my ex-husband name on my LA Driver Licence and only have my maiden name on it! I have my green card , my passeport and my divorce final judgment ! Can you do that?

Tamika is correct. We charge up to an $18.00 convenience fee per DMV Transaction. Our average service time is 20 minutes (usually 5 for driver’s license). ;)

As long as you have the sale document and your proof of insurance on that car, you should be ok taking it to the other state without a plate. If you really want one, the Louisiana DMV can give you a 5 day in transit tag. You would need the notarized title, and your driver’s license. Bring a book and expect a long wait.
