I must preface this by saying that I was in *no way* compensated for this testimonial. I moved back to town after almost a year on Thursday, June 16. The housing I had arranged didn’t work out, so on Friday the 17th, I went rental-hunting the old-fashioned way and looked for signs outside properties in my old neighborhood. The third sign I saw early Friday afternoon—a Soniat Realty sign—was hung in the window of a place blocks from my old house, right where I wanted to be. (Yes, I was absolutely hesitant to dial that number.) The property wasn’t yet on their website, so I called and was connected to property manager John Taylor. I explained my situation to John, who bent over backwards to rush my application. I was sent the lease agreement within hours, and was able to move in on Monday the 20th. My experience thus far with Soniat has been super. Not only was the move in process painless, but on the night of July 4 when a sudden emergency plumbing issue presented itself, John had a plumber out here within a half hour, saving my guests and me significant headaches. I know some of you have had different experiences with Soniat, but I feel obligated to give them credit where credits is due, particularly to John Taylor.
