So I guess If i didnt get threw with my application for the entergy $150 assistance, its too late. This world is not made for the hard working folks. if your already on section 8 collecting food stamps you will get the assistance.

I know without a doubt I should have qualified according to the guidelines, I was probably one of the first people to apply. I got the email verifying they got it and said someone would reach out to me in about 10days. Nothing yet, so I'm still praying. And hoping Entergy doesn't turn me off 😞

Do they help with housing. I am from the Houston area but will be starting a new job in the New Orleans area very soon. I do not have the ability to pay for shelter until I get a few weeks of pay under my belt.

United way has different types of programs. I'm not sure about them. I'm a first time home buyers program. I'm in that program.
