Very unprofessional, the woman tried telling me that they do not carry foldable canes longer than 60 in. I asked when they stopped and was told 2012. I informed her that is not true because I got mine there in 2018, she said it must have been special order. I said no they had it in stock . She says she is the manager. I work in retail, you don't lie to customers. You also don't charge shipping when matter for the blind is free to ship.

TRUCK PICKUP / DELIVERY : Truck drivers when you are close by this place make sure to read your map because your GPS will try to bring you from STATE ST. which is wrong and narrow as people park their cars on the sides. You must come from NASHVILLE AVE. Take a turn into Nashville Ave. Then right turn to FRONT ST. Go about quarter of mile they are on your left. Fast loading got me out of here 30 mins and People working are nice that's why 4 stars. Like my review if it helped you.

Nicest people I've ever dealt with. I was but able to turn into the street that my gps gave me, but then again a phone number from Broker would've helped. Man from shipping came out to the street and talked me to their dock. Another older gent came out once I was backed in to tell me where the comfort station and break room were located. Shipping manager came out and had me sign my bills of lading. Great people, can't wait to come back here

The people working here are so genuine and good at what they do. I felt really understood and like someone was there to help me in our modern world built to rely so heavily on sight. They're ready to understand your strange and unique vision problem and help you find practical solutions for education, home living and work. Their name is perfect.

Unfortunately we don't have books like that to loan out. I suggest reaching out to the state library. They have a huge collection of braille books. Additionally, I am sure American printing house for the blind has a nice selection of braille books for children for purchase!
No ma'am. The lighthouse is a organization where manufactor plates and cups and paper towels and provide home skilled living skill. Also we have a magnifying store and hearing aids, it's called magnified and more. The lighthouse is a good source of information and provides services as mentioned.
Ni, we do not cane chairs. We manufacture paper towels, paper cups, mops, pillow cases, paper plates. We also have a store that sells products specifically for the blind and legally blind. There is a services department that teaches job skills as well as life skills for blind and deaf.
Harahan senior citizen center will take those tapes
